Liturgical Arts Festival: Come Creative Spirit
In cooperation with the Liturgical Arts Festival of Springfield, the Springfield Art Association is hosting a juried exhibition of liturgical and sacred arts as part of the biennial, interfaith Liturgical Arts Festival: Come Creative Spirit.

The Liturgical Arts Festival of Springfield offers the Springfield, Illinois community opportunities for education, inspiration and appreciation of the many forms of spiritual expression found in the arts.This inter-faith celebration of the arts is presented every two years and has evolved to include a juried liturgical and sacred art exhibit, music celebrations of faith held in local houses of worship, and sharing of religious traditions.
The Festival showcases excellence in the fields of music, dance, visual arts, drama, lecture, and architecture. It is a festival for all ages, all faiths, and all traditions.
The 2016 Exhibit may be viewed starting on April 30, 2016, with the opening reception at the Springfield Art Association located at 700 North Fourth Street., Springfield, Illinois.
Hours are Monday-Friday 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Saturday hours are 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
I am please to announce that all three of my zculptures, Silent Devotion, Sister Moon and Talking with Ancestors were accepted into this wonderful show. These sculptures are Raku and part of my Spirit Allies collection. Please stop by the art exhibition if you are at the festival. —Valerie
